Pepper Chicken

Chicken

Ingredients:
1 whole chicken, cut into small pieces
4 tablespoons of freshly ground pepper or more(totally depends on your taste)
2 tsp Green chili Paste
2 tsp Cumin powder
3 tsp Coriander powder
½ tsp Turmeric
2 Large onions, sliced finely
2 Cloves (Make powder)
1 Cinnamon sticks (Make powder)
2-3 Cardamoms (Make powder)
5 tbsp cooking oil or ghee (clarified butter)
2 tsp Ginger-Garlic paste
3 or 4 Mint leaves
½ cup yoghurt
½ Lemon

Method:
Heat oil in a cooking vessel; add the onions and sauté till pink. Add the green chili paste or whole green chili, ginger-garlic paste and sauté further for another 4-5 minutes on medium heat.
Add the cleaned chicken pieces and cook on high heat for sometime.
Add the turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, pepper powder, cloves, cinnamon and cardamom powder and salt, combine well.
Reduce heat to medium, cook covered for another 10 minutes
Now open the cover and add few mint leaves let it cook for 3-4 minutes without cover. Combine well and cook till oil separates.
Let the chicken cook in its own water, Add half a yogurt and cook for another 10 minutes or if you want little bit gravy cover and cook it
Add little bit lemon juice combine well and garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
Serve hot with Fried rice or nans.
